Who is Jesse?
An English-speaking handyman and carpenter based in Central Tel Aviv, living locally in the Old North.
I bring years of hands-on experience across carpentry, light electrical work and general home improvement. That started early, growing up in Ohio, where my family owned and maintained several multi-purpose residential properties. Repairs and upkeep were part of daily life, and over time I developed both the skill and the confidence to do the work properly and safely.
Today I apply that experience to homes and apartments across Tel Aviv, with a strong focus on quality, durability and clean execution.
Why I do this
My goal is simple: to help people feel comfortable and proud of their homes.
I've applied the same care and attention to my own home as I do for my clients — combining creativity with practical problem-solving to improve how spaces look, function and feel. I enjoy working with my hands and take real satisfaction in seeing a space come together properly. For me this work isn't just about fixing things. It's about turning houses into homes.
What it's like working with me
I work in English, explain the process, set expectations up front, and aim for full transparency at every stage. Most of my clients are English speakers in Tel Aviv who have had at least one experience with a tradesman where they weren't sure what was happening in their own apartment, or what it was going to cost. I try to be the opposite of that.
In practice that means three things: you'll know the price before I start, I'll tell you when something isn't worth doing, and I'll clean up before I leave.
Miluim service and local commitment
I have completed 250+ days of miluim with the Givati Brigade.
On October 7th I was in the south within hours, and spent the following months in reserve duty protecting my family, my community and my country. By choosing to work with me, you're supporting a local, miluim-led small business built on responsibility, resilience and commitment.
One practical thing worth saying plainly: reserve duty can call me up at short notice. If that happens mid-job, you'll hear it from me straight away, along with a realistic date — not silence.
It all began with help fixing my mamad door. From there on I just can't do anything else without Jessie. He also helped me with many things at my kindergarten! He is polite, do a wonderful job, give ideas. And cleans after his job! Can't recommend more!
